surrounding mountains and lakes are home to moose and wolves, which can be seen and heard at times. On a clear night enjoy the millions of stars and even sometimes the northern lights, huddled around a radiant campfire on the lake.
The options for outdoor activitiesseem endless. These include snowshoe hikes, cross-country skiing, wildlife watching, ice fishing, dogsledding, skating and hockey on the lake. You are welcome to help with feeding the cows and horses. Excursions to the local school, the film site of "Seven Year in Tibet" and scenic skiplane or helicopter rides can be arranged.

The scenery is breathtaking. We walk on snowshoes through the silent countryside and might spot tracks of moose, deer, wolves, lynx and cougars. Enjoy our set tracks for cross-country skiing on the lakes and trails in a tranquil setting.

Accommodation
Accommodation is in the historic Terra Nostra Guest Ranch nestled in the majestic Coast Mountains in BC's Chilcotin country. The ranch is the perfect getaway for families, companies and small groups. You may rent the entire ranch, or individual suites for your vacation and adventure program Our main Lodge offers nicely decorated rooms. All rooms have private bathrooms with shower and toilet and some have an open fireplace. We serve hearty home-cooked meals in a relaxing atmosphere. Terra Nostra is also fully licensed and serves an array of alcoholic and soft beverages.
