Nature Trails Adventures - Booking Conditions
1. Booking Procedure
At the time of the booking, a deposit of US$ 150.? (or local currency deposit tarif) is due. The full price must be paid 45 days before departure. If payment is not made on time, Nature Trails Adventures pursuant to Section 2 may cancel the travel arrangements and charge processing fees and cancellation costs. The booking is binding for Nature Trails Adventures with its confirmation and for the traveller with his order. For minors, written permission is required from the parents or legal guardians of the participant.
2. Cancellation by the Traveller
The deposit is not refundable.

? between 34 and 8 days, 60% of the price
? between 7 and 0 days, 85% of the price
is forfeited. When a replacement person is found by the traveller who is cancelling, only the fees of the booking change and any change fees for domestic flights which occur are charged. Each cancellation must be in writing. Change of Booking will be regarded as cancellation.
3. Non-Appearance/Early Return
By non-appearance or by appearing too late, no refund will be given. All of the travel arrangements and flight bookings, which Nature Trails Adventures makes for the traveller are subject to the booking conditions and cancellation provisions of the respective travel organization or airline company. Nature Trails Adventures is only the mediator. Nature Trails Adventures does not assume any liability for lateness, inconveniences, ickness, accidents costs, loss and damages. If the traveller leaves the tour, he is responsible for the costs of his residence, further travel and travel home. There will be no reimbursement of the tour price.
4. Group Bookings
When one person makes bookings for other people, this person is binding these people to the booking conditions. The person making the booking is liable to Nature Trails Adventures.
5. Departures & Minimum Numbers
All group tours are guaranteed to operate once a minimum participant number of 9 has been booked (subject to natural disasters and paragraph 14). In the event of an insufficient participant number, Nature Trails Adventures will inform the traveller (or his travel agent respectively) at least 4 weeks prior to the tour start and suggest an alternative tour. Should the client choose to book an alternative tour, Nature Trails Adventures will make payment adjustments according to the difference in tour price. In the event that the client chooses to cancel, Nature Trails Adventures will refund all payments received for the booking. In any event Nature Trails Adventures is not liable for any incidental expenses such as non-refundable cancellation / change fees for flights, visa costs, vaccinations, any additional travel arrangements not booked with Nature Trails Adventures, money transfer fees, etc. The traveller is strongly advised not to book flight tickets that incur cancellation / change fees until 40 days prior to the scheduled departure date.
6. Modifications to the Tour
Nature Trails Adventures can alter (or leave out) travel routes, schedules, places to spend the night, the visit of attractions and the type of transportation during the entire tour, or for parts of the tour and Nature Trails Adventures is not liable for any inconveniences, costs, loss or damages of any type thereby caused.
7. Insurance
There is no insurance included in the tour price. Nature Trails Adventures is not liable for the costs of sickness, accident, lost or damaged luggage and the return trip. The traveller participates at his own risk. Similarly, no liabilities are assumed for damages which were caused by fellow travellers or a third person. It is a condition of booking that all travellers take out sufficient insurance for the above named risks.
8. Health
The traveller is responsible such that his state of health is up to demands that this type of travelling requires.
9. Official Regulations
The traveller is responsible for the compliance with passport, visa, customs, currency, vaccination, health and other regulations. Nature Trails Adventures does not tolerate the bringing along of illegal drugs or similar products. Nature Trails Adventures or the tour leader is entitled to remove the traveller from the tour immediately, if he carries these drugs or products. The same applies, if a traveller does not comply with these booking conditions or if he disrupts the group. In this case there will be no reimbursement for services not received. All of the inconveniences, costs, loss and damages become the responsibility of the traveller.
10. Complaints
If a traveller is not satisfied or has a dispute with the Nature Trails Adventures service, he can see the tour guide. The final decision over the travel route, over night stays and the leadership of the tour lies with the trek guide.
11. Information in this Brochure
In this brochure, information is based to the best knowledge of Nature Trails Adventures at the time of its printing. Nature Trails Adventures can assume, however, no responsibility for discrepancies which may be included and reserves the right to alter any information without notice. The publication of the new brochure renders this brochure invalid.
12. Price
The prices which are given in this brochure are valid at the time of the publication, but are, however, dependent on currency fluctuations, fuel costs and other factors. Nature Trails Adventures retains the right to change the price of a tour or to add an extra charge in relation to the rise of its costs. By his booking, the traveller accepts payment of the extra charge. If the extra charges amount to more than 10% of the tour price, the traveller has the right to cancel the booking, without charge, within 7 days of when it was made known.
13. Liability
Complaints and claims are to be reported in writing within 4 weeks of the end of the tour. The liability of Nature Trails Adventures, whatever the legal argument, in every case is restricted to the amount of the arranged tour price and covers only the direct damages. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Nature Trails Adventures shall not be liable for any inconvenience, costs, loss, damage of any type as a result of natural disasters, acts of God, technical defects of transportation, breakdown of transportation or failure of its service people, the acts of omissions (negligent or otherwise) of any other travel organization or airline, sickness, accidents, quarantines, seizures, orders by local authorities or law enforcement agencies, revocation or non-issuance of the right to transport or permission to pass through, strikes, war, riots, commotion, civil unrest, robbery and theft, fuel rationing or blockage or other impossibilities in obtaining fuel, or any other event of similar consequence for the purposes of the tour. Under no circumstances will Nature Trails Adventures be liable for any indirect or consequential losses suffered by the traveller. The providers of optional activities are not affiliated, endorsed or insured by Nature Trails Adventures, and Nature Trails Adventures cannot be held liable for any damages.
